10th March 2022: Interventional Ultrasound: US guided sampling and more…

  • Ultrasound allows us to confirm and localise focal lesions; however very few conditions have pathognomonic ultrasonographic changes and sampling is commonly required for definitive diagnosis. In this session, we will discuss the different Ultrasound Guided sampling techniques ( FNA, Tru-Cut biopsies), as well as other US interventions (from Urethral Traumatic Catheterisation technique, Prostatic Wash, Pericardiocentesis, Specific techniques for lung sampling, Kidney sampling and GIT sampling.)
